An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, self-starter individual within this mental health charity’s Children and Young People Team, for a Youth Engagement Worker.

Job Title: Youth Engagement Worker
Salary Grade: £22,500 - £23,500 per annum pro rata
Responsible to: Services Manager – Children, Young People and Engagement Lead
No. of Hours: 22.5 hours (including evening and weekend)
Contract Length: 1 year fixed term
Main Base/s: The charity’s Wellbeing Centres (base to be negotiated, with countywide travel)

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to help develop and deliver this charity’s youth mental health and emotional wellbeing services and have a positive impact on young people in Hertfordshire.

Our client currently provides varied mental health services for 10-19 year olds alongside services for adults, including one to one support and group workshops, working in partnership with local organisations. They aim to educate, provide choice, empower and build resilience in children and young people of Hertfordshire, supporting people from all backgrounds and parts of the County.

Purpose of Post:

The Youth Engagement Worker will work with the Children and Young People’s Team to design and develop the children and young people provision within the charity. Using evidence-based data, the post holder will be responsible for sharing trends, needs and key themes regarding young people’s mental health and emotional wellbeing across Hertfordshire.

A full, clean driving license and sole ownership of a vehicle, with a willingness to travel to locations countywide is essential for this post.
