Salary Grade: £19,500 per annum, pro rata
No. of Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term 1 year
Main Base/s: Time will be spent at a range of bases for both our client and Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust; countywide travel will be required.
About the charity
Our client delivers essential mental health support in Hertfordshire, providing a diverse range of services from their seven Wellbeing Centres and other venues across all ten districts of the county. Funded locally, their services are available to all residents in Hertfordshire over the age of 18 and they offer dedicated services for 11-18 year olds.
They create opportunities for individuals experiencing mental ill health to make choices, find their solutions, build resilience and manage their whole life and wellbeing. Their services are based on the principle of self-help with a strong emphasis on prevention, personal development, self-management and improving health and wellbeing.
Purpose of Post
The Wellbeing Access Worker will work closely in partnership with the charity and the Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust Wellbeing Service to improve access and reach of mental health provision across Hertfordshire. The post holder will play a key role marketing and promoting both organisation’s provision as well as ensuring relationships between both partners are maintained. The post holder will work to ensure that individuals who need to access mental health support are able to by providing accurate information and guidance.
The post holder will be line managed by the Community Fundraising Manager for the charity and will also be accountable to the Access Lead for Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust Wellbeing Service, but will manage their own workload, prioritising tasks and working on their own initiative.
