Do you think in a person-centred way? Do you want to make a difference to people you support? Are you interested in leading a team, but don’t want to sit in an office? Are you an outstanding support worker / key worker looking for the next step? Or are you a Team Leader already and really want to join an outstanding Charity with great values?
Position: Team Leader
Contract: Permanent - Full Time (37.5hrs)
Salary: £9.65 per hour
Our client is proud to be recruiting for a Team Leader for their team working within a shared lifestyles scheme. The team are based within a communal hub, providing high quality, core shared flexible support for a range of needs, aiming to make a real difference to the personal independence of each individual and supporting them to identify opportunities for social, recreational and educational opportunities. The charity is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, resilient and forward-thinking person to support the development of this service and be a role model of outstanding support.
As Team Leader you will play an important part in developing and delivering innovative person-centred services. Working on rota, and reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the service consistently meets internal and external quality standards. In addition, you will be responsible for supervising and appraising Support Workers, collating daily and weekly records into our online support planning and recording system, ensuring all staff are aware of support outcomes and are consistently working with the people the organisation support to achieve them.
This is a 24 hour, 365 days per year service and you will need to be flexible to work as the service requires, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. Current rota availability to be confirmed.
Experience providing services for people with learning disabilities and autism, familiarity with supervising a team, and a current working knowledge of CQC regulations would be advantageous (but not essential for a person with the right attitude, values and aptitude).
This post is for 37.5 hours per week. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and references.
