Our client is proud to be recruiting Support Leaders for their Enabling team. They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, resilient and forward-thinking person to support the development of the service and be a role model of outstanding support.

When they the asked people they support what they would like in a staff member, they told them:

"I would like someone who is calm, patient and kind, who loves to learn."
"I would like someone who is adventurous and likes travelling and exploring"
"Someone who understands me, can relate to what I have been through."
"Someone who will talk to me and listen, take me to appointments, help with shopping and tidying."

As Support Leader you will play an important part in developing and delivering innovative person-centred services. Working on rota and reporting to the Enabling Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the service consistently meets internal quality standards.

In addition, you will be responsible for supervising and appraising Support Workers, collating daily and weekly records onto an online support planning and recording system.

You will also ensurethat all staff are aware of support outcomes and are working consistently with the people the organisation supports to achieve them.

This Enabling Service is a 24 hour, 365 day per year service and you will need to be flexible to work as the service requires, including mornings, daytime, nights and weekends.

Experience of providing services for people with learning disabilities and comprehensive risk management; familiarity with supervising a team, and a current working knowledge of CQC regulations would be advantageous but not essential for a person with the right attitude, values and aptitude.

There are up to 4 positions for Support Leaders with the opportunity to work alongside individuals who live independently.
