Senior Site Manager

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Site Manager to lead all elements of their Bempton Cliffs nature reserve operation. Bempton Cliffs is home to one of the most awe-inpiring and accessible wildlife spectacles in England: over half a million seabirds jostling for places on towering chalk cliffs on the East Yorkshire coast. With national and international nature conservation designations, a new visitor centre in 2015 and annual visitor numbers in excess of 100,000, Bempton Cliffs is one of Northern England's most important nature reserves.

The organisation is looking for a proven leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead and develop the reserve's management team to effectively deliver their objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in visitor operations - such as retail, catering, membership or fundraising - and the necessary expertise to achieve both income generation and conservation delivery targets. A passion for providing the best possible visitor experience will be key, helping to connect visitors to Bempton's amazing wildlife and inspiring them to take action for nature.

This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. You will be asked to declare unspent convictions and cautions at offer of employment stage.
