This charity exists as an advocate for children, to release them from their spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty. Their work is Christ centred, church based and child focused.
They are looking for a Senior Project Manager to spearhead their new project management function. Are you Microsoft Project Proficient with significant experience in project management - PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent? You’ll need an understanding of the high-level technical aspects behind IT and Marketing, excellent organisational skills, an analytical and flexible approach to problem solving and effective communication skills.
There is an occupational requirement for the Senior Project Manager to have an active Christian faith as they will pay a significant part in supporting the organisation’s mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviours: excellence and competence, effectiveness, collaboration across multiple departments, innovation, respect, passion for the mission, joyfulness, gracious towards others, accountability and ownership.
To set up and manage the project management function at this charity. Delivering a Project management Philosophy and methodology to be rolled out across the whole ministry. Work with the Executive and Management Teams on managing projects across the organisation, including project management of large projects.
- Promote and maintain the charity's Christian Ethos and Values;
- Develop, implement and maintain a Project Management Philosophy and methodology at this charity;
- Working with the Executive and Management team on identifying, prioritizing, and reporting on projects
- Successful management and delivery of large projects through all the phases, including discovery, design, development, deployment and evaluation
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
This is a permanent office-based role, 35 hours per week Monday – Friday.
