Salary: 
£42,000 - £45,000
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Taunton (with flexibility to work from home)
Hours of work: 37 hours
Annual leave: Initial entitlement 33 days (inclusive of Bank Holidays), rising to 35 days after 1 year and increasing dependent on length of service.

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join our client's busy, friendly, supportive, conscientious and talented finance team within the Taunton Hospice. The role involves overseeing the preparation and the development of management accounting information, ensuring that directors and budget managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information. You will analyse management accounting information and provide financial and business advice to Clinical, Retail and Support services. You will work for the finance director and with the financial controller in improving and developing efficient and effective working methods within the finance department and in improving value for money across the organisation.

You will have FCA/CIMA/FCCA qualification and recent experience in developing and managing management accounting and reporting systems.
