Fitzwilliam College is looking to recruit a Schools Liaison Officer to join our Admissions Team.

Schools Liaison Officer
Responsible to:
 Head of Admissions and Student Services
Salary: £25,500 + £500 bonus in 2023 + excellent benefits
Location: Cambridge, CB3 0DG
Contract Type: Two Year Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: This is a full-time post. 36.5 hours per week (7.5 hours Monday to Thursday and 6.5 hours on Friday). The post-holder will occasionally be expected to work during the evening/weekend to organize/attend College events which will be compensated by time in lieu.

Job Summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic candidate to assist in managing current College student recruitment and widening participation events, initiatives and resources. They will help to implement and develop an effective and targeted outreach programme that helps the College to attract the widest possible field of undergraduate applications, particularly from currently under-represented groups. The successful applicant will be well-organised, proactive, and highly motivated, with excellent verbal and written skills. You will also have excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office packages.

Job Purpose
The School Liaison Officer works with the Admissions Tutors, Head of Admissions and Student Services, Admissions Officer and the Outreach Officer, to implement College student recruitment and widening participation events, initiatives and resources. They will help to implement and develop an effective and targeted outreach programme that helps the College to attract the widest possible field of undergraduate applications, particularly from currently under-represented groups. The post holder will be reporting directly to the Head of Admissions and Student Services, and work closely with the Admissions Tutors and other members of staff.
