Our client, a mental health and wellbeing charity, is looking for a Mental Health Trainer & Step2Skills Tutor to join their team.

Mental Health Trainer & Step2Skills Tutor
Responsible to: Training & Learning Lead
Based: Across Hertfordshire with the potential for some work nationally
Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week
Rate of pay: £25,000 per annum

Due to growth in demand, they are looking for a full time trainer who can deliver their training programmes in a professional and friendly manner. They wish to appoint people with experience of delivering training on a range of subjects relevant to mental health in both adults and young people.

The focus of this organisation’s training delivery is Hertfordshire, however, there may also be potential for national delivery. As well as delivering their range of existing training courses, they are looking for enthusiastic and skilled individuals, who will work with them proactively to help improve their existing course content and materials, develop new standard and bespoke courses and who will deliver additional talks and workshops as per their clients’ needs.

You will be responsible for:

Delivering mental health related training sessions and workshops e.g. Mental Health Awareness training, Suicide Awareness/Prevention, Stress Management and Mental Health in the Workplace to Hertfordshire Mind Network clients, staff and volunteers primarily in-person and online through various platforms.

  • Acting as an ambassador for the charity at all times, ensuring that the strategic objectives are consistently referred to and promoted.
  • Representing the charity in a professional manner and act in line with the organisation’s policies and procedures, whilst at the same time upholding the organisations values.
  • Undertaking such other duties as may be required from time to time commensurate with the level of the post.
