About the organisation

Our client is a registered provider of social housing, providing ‘Specialised Supported Housing’ to vulnerable adults across the UK.

They grew out of a genuine desire to help and enable those people in society who are most in need and most disadvantaged by promoting values of fairness and integrity in all aspects of everything they do. They believe that everyone, regardless of their social status, age, gender or ability, deserves the right to be valued and to be treated equally and fairly at all times.

They believe that everyone deserves a chance to live the life they truly want and aspire towards, and to have access to a good, safe, well-resourced home that is of a quality and design that enables them to live a life that is as independent as possible.

The Role

If you have a passion for providing outstanding day-to-day maintenance, out of hours and repairs operations across the UK, then this could be the role for you. You will be responsible for delivering planned, cyclical and responsive property maintenance, including grounds maintenance, as well as communal and void room cleaning services, as required.

You will help create a good landlord/tenant relationship, liaise with tenants and other customers, minimising the impact of work on tenants, keep them informed of progress and complete all required paperwork and reports.

Who we are looking for

To be successful in the role you will have the ability to work alone, or with others as a team, including contractors and other maintenance operatives. You will care about maintaining high standards and will want the homes that our client provides to be in the best possible condition. You will be able to work within expected timescales and be able to complete reports and required administration with accuracy.

You will have a positive attitude, high attention to detail and be self-motivated.
