Individual Giving Manager
Salary:
 circa £37,000 (pro rata)
Contract: Fixed-term for twelve months (Maternity Cover)
Location: Hybrid working between head office and home
Hours: Part time – 21 hours per week

Lymphoma Action is looking for an Individual Giving Manager, tasked with generating income from offline and digital appeals, with an additional focus on planning and implementing effective supporter journeys to improve retention and grow income.

We’re looking for a motivated and talented fundraising professional who can demonstrate success through offline and online direct marketing campaigns and has a clear understanding of the importance of stewardship.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Experience of direct marketing and writing compelling appeals/copy
  • Possess thorough knowledge of the principles of supporter care and supporter journeys
  • Be creative, with the ability to convey the experiences of people affected by lymphoma through inspirational story-telling
  • Have the confidence and ability to plan, test and deliver new activity successfully across a range of channels

Lymphoma Action has developed a great working culture that focuses on delivering the best outcomes for people affected by lymphoma, as well as prioritising a creative, inclusive and supportive environment. Due to the success of the last few years, the Charity is in a strong position to invest in and develop our fundraising and marketing work, so the postholder will have the freedom to explore creative and innovative ways to grow income over the next twelve months.

Lymphoma Action is the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the UK’s fifth most common cancer. We’ve been providing expert information and wide-ranging support for more than 35 years, helping thousands of people affected by lymphoma.
