Our client a Wildlife Trust is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic HR and EDI professional to join the team. You will play a key part in developing and delivering a Human Resources and EDI strategy, supporting the Trust to deliver a Wilder Somerset.

This management level role has been created to develop capacity within the Trust and is the strategic lead for the Trust’s People Strategy. The role will work collaboratively with the Trust’s Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team, (Sales) Director and relevant departments within the organisation to drive forward their People Strategy and help to ensure that they have the Human Resources systems to realise their ambitions for wildlife across Somerset.

Working closely with the Head of Resources and the Human Resources and Governance Officer, the postholder will be responsible for the day-to-day Human Resources function. The Human Resources Manager will develop and implement the Human Resources and EDI strategy that includes staff and volunteers. This role demands strategic leadership and business skills, a collaborative ‘can-do’ approach and attention to quality of output.
