  • Contract: Permanent, part-time
  • Based: Littlemore, Oxford with travel to other sites as required

With 150 staff and 1,800 volunteers and supported by 52,000 members, our client is embarking on a new phase in its development as it pursues its strategic plan Be Part of Nature’s Recovery. In the face of the growing challenges facing our beautiful countryside, real leadership is needed at all levels in the organisation combined with courage and urgency.

They are looking for a Human Resources Director to champion their values and develop their people to help the CEO create the highest impact team possible to lead them forward in this increasingly challenging environment. With staff distributed across ten locations one of the role’s purposes is to support the development of a one team culture.

This is a new role and our client wants the best person with the best fit for us at a critical time so they can be flexible about your hours. Initially they estimate 21 hours per week will work for them. They are particularly keen to receive applications from under-represented groups in their organisation.

Our client is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.
