The Head of Movement Building will be responsible for helping to build a public movement for nature. This charity needs nature to be as popular as sport and as politically relevant as health. They need millions of people taking action and behaving differently for nature in order to influence the decisions and actions of politicians and businesses.

To halt and reverse the decline in biodiversity our client need a response that is commensurate with the threat. They need to bring people with them and they need to build a movement so irresistible, so diverse and so unstoppable that it can't be ignored.

Reporting to the Director of Engagement, the Head of Movement Building will be accountable for this charity's Campaigning, Community Empowerment, and Education, Families & Youth functions. This role will drive forward a new approach to growing the organisation's impact by catalysing action and collaborating with other people and groups in the wider movement for nature. This role has an organisation-wide remit to foster network building, convening of others and facilitative leadership within and outside of the sector.

As a change leader and maker, you will have the leadership and influencing skills to drive transformational change across this organisation and beyond. With demonstrable skills in campaigning and community empowerment through movement building approaches, you will have the drive and energy to help build a diverse, people powered movement for nature.
