Mayday Trust has radically transformed from a traditional homelessness charity to a leading voice for systems change, offering our unique strengths-based coaching to people going through tough times. This is no ordinary growth and delivery role.? This is a role that will challenge you to get radical, unleashing your inner activist to support Mayday and the people we walk alongside by:

  • Working with senior colleagues to identify and generate delivery and strategic advice contracts with values-aligned commissioners
  • Support our coaching team to be highly performing and to create demonstrable impact
  • Build and hold key relationships with commissioners, funders and partners
  • Support and monitor delivery, managing our Impact Officer to collect and use outcomes data to improve our work and to influence change

As part of our leadership team, you will need to be able to help coaches and other team members to deliver on targets within imperfect public service systems, while also influencing positive system change and building better public services for the future.

Equity and inclusion
We recognise that to create a radical and impactful organisation we need a leadership team that is representative of the diverse communities we hope to support. We recognise that there is a long history of racism and other forms of prejudice within the charity sector, and we are committed to building our organisational and personal understanding of inequality and to becoming an inclusive and anti-oppressive organisation. We encourage and support applications from groups and communities underrepresented in the charitable sector and our current leadership team, including people from black and minority ethnic communities.

We support the Disability Confident scheme, and we are open to making reasonable adjustments to the application and interview process to ensure that everyone who is interested can apply. We can also discuss any other assistance to help you apply.

Closing Date: 12 noon on Monday December 5th
