Our client, a leading wetlands conservation charity have a perfect opportunity for an experienced sous chef or kitchen manager ready to run your own kitchen at their London Wetland Centre, a small visitor attraction, which welcomes 130,000 visitors each year. With great rates of pay, no split shifts, occasional evening working, their team are ready to welcome you to the pond.

Location: London, SW13
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - 5 days from 7 working day time hours - weekend and Bank Holiday working is essential but is worked on fair rota basis with no split shifts, occasional evening functions.
Salary: £28,509 per annum

Working as their Head Chef, you will create, develop and manage an inspirational kitchen environment that consistently delivers a high standard of food for the onsite café and secondary outlet. You will be managing a small kitchen team of 2 and taking responsibility for the food that leaves the kitchen, cooking their seasonal menus and ensuring everyone in the team adheres to their food safety management policies. You will also oversee the catering for their day time events and occasional evening functions (around 20 per year) ensuring that the quality and presentation of the food meets customer expectation. This role will also deputise for the catering manager when necessary.
