Our client is looking for a Community Fundraiser, home based in South Wales, Bristol and Bath to support their mission by generating and growing income through community fundraising activities.
Position: Community Fundraiser
Location: Home-based, South Wales, Bristol, Bath
Salary: Circa £28,000 per annum
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Benefits: Holiday entitlement, 25 days per annum, excluding UK Public Holidays, access to a Employee Assistance Programme and option to join the organisation's healthcare scheme.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to make a difference in one of the most innovative and exciting medical research fundraising charities in the UK.
As Community Fundraiser for Bristol, Swansea and Cardiff you will help deliver strategic plans and objectives, by generating and growing income through community fundraising activities along the M4 corridor.
This charity's community fundraisers also help raise awareness by engaging people with the organisation's work, and recruiting and supporting the fundraising of individuals, challenge event participants, their Fundraising Groups and Charity of the Year partnerships.
About You

Do you have:
- Experience in community fundraising, donor management and stewardship
- Good communication skills, with the ability to converse sensitively and empathetically
- Experience working to and meeting targets
- Ahigh level of empathy for our cause
- The ability to work proactively and independently
