Could you use your excellent communication and relationship-building skills to inspire organisations and individuals to support children’s mental health? Blue Smile provides 1-1 arts-based therapy and specialist mental health support to 3-13 year-olds in Cambridgeshire. We have an opportunity to join our small and supportive fundraising team, helping generate awareness and funds so more children can enjoy happier childhoods and brighter futures.

Working closely with the Fundraising Manager, the Fundraising and Communications Officer will coordinate our Community and Corporate fundraising activity – you will build relationships with local companies, organisations and individuals, equipping and inspiring them to support Blue Smile. You will also keep our website and social media up-to-date and create engaging content and marketing materials to connect with our target audiences.

We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of fundraising and/or marketing, with experience of delivering either digital marketing, community fundraising or corporate fundraising activity. You’ll need excellent communication and IT skills, be good at organising and prioritising work, and have proven experience building positive relationships with a wide range of people. We’ll offer the support and training you need to develop your skills and knowledge and take your career to the next level.

At Blue Smile, we provide a supportive working environment including flexible working and a focus on professional development. As a mental health charity, we focus on staff wellbeing and a positive work/life balance. We aim to offer a competitive salary, with a commitment to the Real Living Wage.

Closing date for applications: Tuesday 12 December, 8.30am.
Interviews to be held on: Friday 15 or Tuesday 19 December.

Safeguarding is central to all Blue Smile activities - the welfare of all children, young people and adults-at-risk, is paramount and all have equal rights of protection. The successful applicant will be required to complete a Basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check which Blue Smile will fund.
