Catering Supervisor
Salary: 
£20,048 – £22,480 per annum, pro rata
Hours: 35 hours. You will be employed on a flexible contract and will be expected to work additional hours. These flexible hours will be agreed by your manager, with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice given prior to any additional hours being worked.
Location: Winlaton Mill, Gateshead

About the role
An opportunity has arisen for a Catering Supervisor to join our Café Shrub Team. Working with a small friendly team, you will be expected to be involved with the day-to-day running of catering services, overseeing staff to ensure standards are consistently met, and driving achievement of the highest levels of visitor satisfaction.

The role requires a positive and flexible approach with the ability to operate effectively in a fast paced customer environment. In addition, the role will require weekend working and some evening working.

About you
We are seeking someone who is outgoing and enthusiastic, with proven experience of customer service in a fast paced catering environment. Having supervisory skills is essential as well as being an excellent communicator who is open, honest and acts with integrity. You will be flexible and willing to tackle any task or role assigned to you with a positive attitude.

With a passion for food and delivering an excellent service, you will also have knowledge of food safety and health and safety principles.
