Salary: Grade 4 (£20,092 - £21,748)
Hours: Full Time - 37 Hours per week (Flexi Time)
Location: To be based at either Barnsley/Rotherham, Sheffield or Doncaster

The vital role of the Business Safety Advisor is to help businesses to understand the law when it comes to fire safety.

Using your brilliant people skills, you will offer advice to business owners and using your training you will educate those responsible for lower risk premises.

You will play a big part in the community in which you serve- signposting businesses to more information and helping to create strong and vibrant local economies.

To be considered you will require a basic knowledge of the role our client a fire service has in enforcement within the business community and the importance of providing a professional and quality service.

Applicants must:

  • Where possible have experience in working with the public
  • Have excellent written and communication skills
  • Have the ability to plan, manage and prioritise workloads

The key duties will include engaging with business owners in South Yorkshire to provide advice and guidance to them about their responsibilities concerning fire safety.

Closing date for applications is 1800 hours on Friday 30 July 2021.
Start date will be confirmed on appointment. These are full time placements.
