Our client has a great opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as a Specialist Support Worker in Kettering.

About the role
They have a full time role available, working 37.5 hours per week. They also have a permanent, part time Waking Night role working 28.5 hours per week.
As a Specialist Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible – helping with personal care, supporting someone to rustle up some breakfast, do the weekly shop or visit a local café.
Our client also supports people to take part in some of their amazing arts and wellbeing activities – from dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing.

Experience is not necessarily required for this role as they are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives.
Flexibility is needed as working times do vary and will include evenings, weekends and sleep-ins; they will however provide you with a rota in advance so you can plan your life accordingly.
